Time: 12:30 pm

By invitation from the Health Visiting team only. One and two year old development checks to ensure your child is progressing well and to offer guidance and support in areas where they may need a little encouragement. Note: no checks on Bank Holiday Mondays.

A gently-structured session for you and your two year old child, aiming to support the development of speech and language and offer tips and ideas of how to encourage and build language at home too. With songs, rhymes, stories and themed play. FREE, with no need to book but please call for more information. Facilitated by Kate, here at Tennyson's, 10-11am.

Time: 11:30 am

A quieter session by design, with Kate, for children who have an autism spectrum condition or additional needs, or those children who just need a gentler session. No need to book - FREE. 11.30am to 12.30pm.

A Music and Movement class: 10am-10.30am for mobile children, 10.45am-11.15am for mobile babies up to walking and 11.30am-12 noon for non-mobile babies Just £2 per family per session, with no need to book. Held here at Tennyson's Children's Centre.

* The Parenting Puzzle The Parenting Puzzle

Held at Shottermill Infants School. 9.30-11.30am £20 for the 4 week course (not 25th October due to Half Term). Subsidised places available for families in receipt of certain benefits - please enquire. No session on 28th October. Course continues after Half Term. Booking is essential. For more information call 01428 644485.

Parents with children 0-4 years of age. Comfy, cosy baby corner. High Lane Community Centre. 10-11.30am. Term time only.

* Baby Massage - a 5 week courseBaby Massage - a 5 week course

Time: 1:00 pm

A lovely way to bond with your baby and learn gentle techniques to comfort and soothe them. For non-mobile babies and their parents. The course costs £20. FREE places are available to families on a low income - please speak to a member of staff in confidence. 1-2.30pm at Tennyson's. 1-2pm here at Tennyson's.

Drop in between 9.30 and 11.30am to have your child weighed and measured, gain breastfeeding support or other child health advice from the Health Visiting team. Healthy Start vitamins are also available here. Held at Tennyson's.
