Our weekly information, advice and guidance session. No question too small! Where we cannot directly answer your query or address your concern, we will endeavour to signpost you to someone who can. 9.30-11.30am. Drop in or book an appointment.

* Outdoor Play Wednesdays fr MayOutdoor Play Wednesdays fr May

Time: 1:00 pm

Come with your child to enjoy our beautiful garden every Wednesday in May from 1-3pm. The sandpit will be open as well as our mud kitchen, so come dressed for mess. There will be physical play opportunities and plenty of space for your child to run around. A shady baby area with rugs, cushions and toys will be provided if the ground is dry enough. These play sessions are free but please register with the children's centre if you have not done so already. Starts 2nd May, 1-3pm. Last session for the summer is Wednesday 15th August.

Held at Tennyson's Children's Centre. 9.45-10.45am Mobile children 11.15am-12 noon Non-mobile babies FREE

Drop in between 9.30 and 11.30am to have your child weighed and measured, gain breastfeeding support or other child health advice from the Health Visiting team. Healthy Start vitamins are also available here. Held at Tennyson's.

By invitation from the Health Visiting team only. One and two year old development checks to ensure your child is progressing well and to offer guidance and support in areas where they may need a little encouragement. Note: no checks on Bank Holiday Mondays. 12.30-3.30pm.

A series of three workshops for parents of children starting local state primary schools in September 2018. Call 01428 644485 for further info. Booking essential. Held at Shottermill Infants School from 9.30-11.30am.

For parents of babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Babies and small children are welcome - a baby corner and toddler toys will be available. 9.30-11.30am at Tennyson's Children's Centre. £20 per person. It is essential to register and book in advance.
